Our base
This is the page for people already in Edmonton, which means the travel question does not apply and the useful thing to explain is what the full range of work actually covers.
The full range
Residential work is most of it: new drives, replacements, repairs and coating. Being based here means a small job is a short trip, so the things that are awkward to justify further out are routine in the city itself.
Commercial work runs alongside that, mostly lots for plazas, condo boards and smaller industrial sites. Those are phased and often worked overnight, which is easier to staff when the yard is nearby.
And the quick items genuinely are quick here. A single pothole, a run of crack sealing or a repaint do not need to be bundled with anything to be worth the visit.
How it starts
Area, access and what the surface is doing, on site. Being local means this usually happens within days rather than being batched into a trip.
Depths, what is excluded, and how additional base work would be priced if the ground turns out to be poor underneath.
Weather moves paving dates and we will say so rather than promise a day we cannot guarantee against the forecast.
Return times, what the first season looks like, and when coating would be due. Asked and answered before the crew leaves.
Residential and commercial
Householders mostly want to know whether a drive needs replacing or repairing, and what the difference costs. That conversation is usually shorter than people expect once the cracking pattern has been looked at.
Property managers want a different thing: a scope they can take to a board, phasing that keeps a site trading, and a written record. Those are the same surfaces with different paperwork around them.
Both get the same build. The repair or replace question is where most residential calls start, managed properties have their own page, and the full list covers everything either one might need.

From the blog
Driveway Paving
The apron cracks first because the base under it was never compacted properly. This is not a surface problem. It is a foundation problem, and it decides whether resurfacing will hold.

Asphalt Repair
Every April, Edmonton's potholes reappear. They did not form overnight. They started as open cracks the previous fall, filled with water, and shattered when the freeze-thaw cycle began. The repair you avoid in October becomes the pothole you cannot avoid in spring.

Sealcoating
The autumn window for sealcoating closes fast in Edmonton. A sealed surface resists salt damage and plough wear on edges. Here's when to act and what changes if you wait.

Single repairs are worth a visit here on their own.
