Line marking
Markings are what make a lot work: how many vehicles fit, where they are supposed to go, and whether the accessible spaces meet the dimensions they are required to. Paint is the cheap part; the layout is the job.
What a lot is for
Most lots were laid out once and repainted over the same lines for years. A repaint is the only cheap moment to change stall width, add an aisle or recover spaces that were lost to a badly placed island, and that is worth doing then.
Accessible spaces are the part that is not negotiable. The stall, the access aisle beside it and the route to the door all have dimensions, and getting them wrong is the one marking error that costs more than the paint.
Paint also has to land on something that will hold it. A surface that is crumbling takes the line and loses it, so marking is usually scheduled after the coat rather than before.
How marking runs
Existing stalls are counted and measured, then compared with what the site is supposed to provide. This is where lost spaces usually turn up.
Stall and aisle dimensions, traffic direction and the accessible route are agreed before anything is marked, because paint is hard to argue with afterwards.
Lines are snapped from measured reference points rather than from the old faded paint, which is how a drifted layout gets straightened out.
Markings are applied and left to cure before vehicles return. Driving on wet paint tracks it across the whole lot and the repair is another visit.
Line marking services
Four jobs, usually booked together with a coat.
Stall lines, aisles, arrows and numbers, snapped from measured points rather than traced over whatever was there before.

Lot striped, signs mounted, bollards set, all in one visit after the sealcoat. The layout was approved on a drawing first.
They proposed a better layout than the old one and it gained stalls. The striping matched the plan exactly.
Accessible stalls to code, fire lane marked, arrows straight. Nothing we had to point out.
Same company for the paving and the lines, so the schedule was one schedule.

Send the stall count or let us measure it. You get a layout proposal and a price, and the accessible spaces are checked against the requirement rather than assumed.
Most lots are marked overnight so trading is not interrupted.
